Good to know
Do I need to change my email host or provider?
No. Webmailex connects to the mailbox you already have on your existing cPanel host. Nothing about your existing mail setup changes.
Is my password stored anywhere?
No. Your password is sent, over an encrypted connection, straight to your own mail server to check it's correct, then discarded. Webmailex never keeps a copy.
Can anyone sign up on their own?
No, and that's deliberate. Only domains we've explicitly registered can sign in, so the service can never be used as an open gateway to arbitrary mail servers.
What does the branded address involve?
You choose a subdomain (like portal.yourcompany.com), point a DNS record at us, and we handle the rest - your logo and colours appear from the moment the page loads, not just after sign-in.
Can I install it like a real app?
Yes. On both phone and computer, your browser can install Webmailex as a standalone app with its own icon - no app store required.
